This summer you could have the opportunity to work for one of the leading fashion retailers in North America, Chico's FAS is a company of three unique brands – Chico's, White House Black Market, and Soma. Our 11-week Summer Internship Program is the perfect way to gain work experience within the core of the organization.


Position Objective:

The CAD Artist Intern assists the team in maintaining the organization of the retail sample racks, print and pattern library. The CAD Artist intern will manage multiple tasks at once including trend related tasks, and special creative projects. Other responsibilities include updating purchased samples and purchased print and pattern book with color print-outs.


Functional Responsibilities:

• Be exposed to the total business processes and procedures

• Gain an understanding of the roles of the retail professionals

• Assist with other projects as assigned


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)

• An eye for trend, color, print and pattern

• Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Power Point

• Junior or Senior status at an accredited college or university with minimum GPA of 3.0

• Interest in pursuing a career in retail

• Strong Communication, organizational skills, and an eagerness to learn


Program Details:

The Chico’s FAS Summer Internship Program welcomes the classes of 2025 and 2026 college students to work with several of our brands (Chico’s, Soma, and White House Black Market) to kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-on with their department and receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project.
