Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence, Chico’s FAS, Inc., Fort Myers, FL. Develop, update & maintain various programs or software packages to handle specific jobs or functions. Develop, analyze, review & update programs, using workflow chart & diagram & applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter & symbolic logic. Perform or direct revision, repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Resp for helping in all aspects of the SDLC process up to & incl post implementation support. Consult w/managerial, engineering & tech personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems & suggest changes. Track & resolve functional defects of varying sizes & severity. Perform systems analysis & programming tasks to maintain & control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer. Compile & write documentation of program development & subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. Prepare diagrams that describe input, output & logical operation & convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. Consult w/ & assist end users or system analysts to define & resolve problems in running programs. Mentor & support other colleagues on team for tech questions & decisions. Telecommuting option – employee may live anywhere in U.S. Min req incl: Bachelor’s in CS, Data Analytics or Electronics Eng & 5 yrs exp, incl 5 yrs exp in applications development; 3 yrs exp w/Data Visualization Tools or w/SAP Business Objects, or equivalent Data Visualization Tools; exp w/T-SQL (ability to write complex queries, understand stored procedures & debug code-MCSA preferred), SSRS & SSIS; & exp gathering business requirements for IT projects & w/software development processes.
