POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for developing all FAS and Store communication strategies and initiatives in support of individual brand objectives. This includes strategizing the vehicle, timing, and content of all communication. Must maintain strong partnerships with Store Support, FAS and Knitwell cross-functional teams and vendors when applicable.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees all Brand engagement and communication strategies which include in Boutique events, contests, promotions, and recognition as determined for brand.

• Ensures quaterly documents and calendars by brand & channel are maintained by brand comm team.

• Tracks departments project log to ensure all content is tracking to execution timelines.

• Acts as an advisor for content that goes to Boutique teams, edits when necessary.

• Partners with Brand Leaders to ensure pertinent communication is being disseminated.

• Collaborates with multiple brand and corporate partners including but not limited to; HR, Production Center, Mailroom, Store Support,

• Ensures field teams receive all pertinent communication related to any program rollouts, policy or operational changes.

• Continually innovates with communication team on new ways to disseminate information to keep Associates engaged and driving sales.

• Finds ways to leverage templates, processes and communication strategies across brands to create efficiencies.

• Partners regularly on any store support initiatives to ensure fluid dissemination of information/roll-out.

• Leads and supports any company or Field Leadership meeting in collaboration with the store support team.

• Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA or BS Degree, English, Communications, or similar field preferred

• 7+ years in a retail or corporate communications capacity.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences and venues

• Ability to adapt to change quickly

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google tools

• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and InDesign preferred
