POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for budgeting/forecasting sales and margin for each channel with a consolidated brand view.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creates detailed sales and margin forecasts by brand and channel (weekly, quarterly, annually). Sale forecast will be in both dollars and units.
• Ties back KPIs (traffic, conversion, AUR, UPT, Inventory Turn) back to forecast (i.e., include KPIs in forecast); also aligns with prior year and forecast year promotional events.
• Presents forecast to Executive Committee and ELT as part of pre-season planning. Makes any adjustments in tops down/bottoms up process.
• Provides governance and oversight of price and product testing.
• Tracks results relative to forecast and identifies gaps and performs root cause variance analysis.
• Coordinates with Corporate FP&A to create full P&L by brand, channel and at consolidated level.
• Shares forecast, actuals vs. forecast and financial/business insights with Merchandising, Marketing, Stores and Digital teams.
• Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related field required
• 7+ years of experience in technology, project management, master data or process improvement
• Previous process improvement and SAP experience
• Six Sigma experience a plus
• Management experience in a data entry / data quality organization
• Superior systems skills and knowledge with appropriate proficiency in:
• Proficient in Business Objects, Project & Visio
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Customer focused with the ability to navigate obstacles to get things done
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
