POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position will lead the strategic development and execution of social media efforts for two distinct fashion brands within our portfolio. This role is responsible for growing brand awareness, increasing engagement, and driving sales through innovative social media strategies. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the fashion and retail industry, digital trends, and platform-specific best practices and excels at balancing multiple brand voices in a fast-paced environment.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops and implement social media strategies aligned with each brand’s identity, goals, and marketing calendar.
• Taylors social media content to target different audiences across multiple social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.).
• Analyzes competitors and industry trends to position both brands at the forefront of social media Collaborates with creative and brand marketing to create compelling, on-brand content for each platform.
• Oversees the creation of graphics, video, and other multimedia content.
• Maintains a consistent posting schedule, while adapting to real-time opportunities.
• Monitors follower comments and influencers to build and nurture each brand’s online community.
• Monitors brand sentiment and proactively manage crises or negative feedback.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, making data-driven recommendations to optimize results.
• Track KPIs such as follower growth, engagement rate, website traffic, and sales attributed to social media efforts.
• Collaborate closely with brand marketing, PR, creative, and ecommerce teams to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels. Manages the social media budget for two brands.
• Partners with paid social media on campaigns, working with digital marketing teams to execute targeted ad strategies.
• Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for fashion or lifestyle brands
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
