POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position develops and executes a comprehensive Ecommerce strategy to drive growth and enhance the online shopping experience. This position is a cross-functional leader responsible for profitable sales, visual merchandising, and conversion strategy to achieve brand objectives. The role will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of all ecommerce activities.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for setting strategies for profitable ecommerce growth across digital business consistent with the brand’s Omni-channel initiatives.
• Responsible for optimizing site experience to drive digital KPIs: conversion, AOV & revenue through merchandising tactics.
• Aligns website and APP strategy with overall brand business goals and marketing initiatives.
• Responsible for site strategy frameworks & briefs for product launches and promotional events.
• Communicates Ecommerce business, consumer behavior insights and trends to leadership leveraging data analytics, website performance and conversion metrics.
• Brand owner for website enhancement priorities, partner with product management & IT on AB testing roadmap.
• Collaborates with performance marketing team on site growth and traffic plans that deliver both topline and category sales targets.
• Collaborates with internal teams (merchants, planning, marketing, technology) to improve processes, identify opportunities, and scale best practices.
• Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads and mentors a team of 5 through clear communication, expectations, and guidance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree required - Master’s Preferred
• 10+ years’ experience in Merchandising and E-commerce and 4-6 years of management experience
• Broad based business acumen
• Strong ability to build business strategies and implement shorter-term tactical plans that are cost-effective, efficient and realistic
• Possess a clear understanding of financial measurements and how to impact them
• Demonstrate leadership ability in inspiring and motivating own team
• Demonstrated consistent ability to drive financial results and goals
• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication including presentation skills
• Proficient in web analytics tools & platforms; Google Analytics, Content Square, Product Information management system
• Excel at working cross functionally – strong influencing skills
